W.M.M.B. Awareness Inc. empowers communities by raising awareness, providing education, and offering compassionate support to individuals and families impacted by cancer and chronic illnesses. Inspired by the legacy of our four founding mothers, we stand as Warriors Moving Mountains Beyond Cancer — committed to breaking barriers, promoting early detection, and strengthening emotional, physical, and financial well‑being.
Through outreach, advocacy, and community partnerships, we work to ensure that every person has access to knowledge, resources, and hope. Our mission is to uplift, educate, and unite our community as we move mountains together — beyond diagnosis, beyond fear, and toward healing, resilience, and lasting change.

The Women Whose Lives Built W.M.M.B. Awareness Inc.
Before there was an organization, before the mountains, before the ribbons and colors, there were four women whose love for family shaped everything that came after:
Barbara Woods, Linda McClary, Annie Dell Montgomery, and Thelma Bright.
They were cousins — but more importantly, they were sisters in spirit, warriors in life, and the foundation of the mission you carry forward today.
